View our filmsFaliro House was founded in 2008 by Christos V. Konstantakopoulos, it has since developed, produced and co-produced more than fifty films. Over the years Faliro House has established various strategic partnerships, including a development deal with FilmNation Entertainment, which is entering its seventh year.
Faliro House co-developed and produced Richard Linklater’s Before Midnight, shot entirely in Greece. In 2017 Faliro House serviced Park Chan Wook’s TV series The Little Drummer Girl, a BBC & AMC co-production shot in Athens and surrounding areas. In 2019 the company serviced the thriller Beckett, directed by Ferdinando Cito Filomarino and produced by Luca Guadagnino.
In 2015, Faliro House launched Oxbelly, a community-building non-profit focused on film education. Every summer Oxbelly hosts an international gathering of filmmakers in Costa Navarino, Greece, where emerging film professionals interact with their more experienced colleagues over a week-long program of panels, screenings and masterclasses. In 2020, Oxbelly launched its Film & TV Courses, a tailor-made programme of film & TV courses for audiovisual professionals in collaboration with the National Film and Television School (NFTS). The first three courses, each conducted by a professional of the international audiovisual industry, focused on Production Co-ordinators, Post Production Supervision, and Budgeting on Movie Magic.
In 2016, Faliro House launched a Mediterranean Screenwriters Workshop in partnership with the Sundance Institute and filmmaker Athina Rachel Tsangari, wanting to benefit the region’s 1st or 2nd time filmmakers. Following the Workshop’s successful 3-year run, the Oxbelly Screenwriters and Directors Lab was launched in 2019, with Tsangari staying on as Artistic Director, joined by high-caliber professionals, such as Paul Thomas Anderson, Lisa Cholodenko, Willem Dafoe, Nick Kroll, Dee Rees, and others.
